Superintendent

Roger Sharp

Meet Mr. Sharp

My name is Roger Sharp and I am proud to have been asked, by the Board of Education, to guide the Muldrow School District through the remaining days of the current school year.  As most of the community will remember, I served as the Muldrow School District Superintendent for 33 years and was a district employee for 42 years.  I am proud of the educational success our students at Muldrow have achieved and I look forward to providing additional opportunities for all students.

I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Northeastern State University. I attended the University of Arkansas and earned an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Administration.

My vision for Muldrow Schools is and has always been to provide and educational atmosphere where every student has an opportunity and desire to succeed in life.  We want to provide the necessary skills required to help all students as they determine their path in life.

I have been married to Jan Sharp for 57 years and we have two children: Dayla Brown, a teacher at Muldrow Elementary School, and Mark Sharp, a veterinarian who practices veterinary medicine in Greenwood and Fayetteville Arkansas.  We have one granddaughter, Alyssa, who is a senior at Greenwood High School.  I currently live on a small farm north of Muldrow where I run Black Angus Cattle.

My pledge to the Muldrow community is I will work hard every day and with the assistance of the Board of Education and Staff we will provide a quality and professional atmosphere that will better enable our students to be successful.  I solicit your support, your input, and most importantly your prayers as we work our way through the 2024-2025 school year.
