Senior panel pictures are scheduled to be taken on Tuesday, August 25th. These pictures will be taken by Ruth Kelly Studio; they will be setting up in the library, and seniors will be called out in small groups by alphabetical order beginning at 9am. For virtual students, please plan to arrive at 9am as you will be the first group to have your photo taken. If you cannot be here at 9am, please contact Mrs. Claborn or Mrs. McCrary to make other arrangements. If you have morning ICTC, you will want to stay on campus so that you can get your photo taken. As a reminder, these photos will be sent to a judge from outside of our community who will choose the MHS Beauty and Beau. The choosing of Beauty and Beau is based solely on your senior panel picture. Please keep in mind that you are only photographed from the chest up which means, for example, that guys will have on their shirt and tie, but you will be fine if you are wearing shorts or jeans because that part of your clothing will not show in the pictures.
Also, you will be required to pay a “sitting fee” of $15 to Ruth Kelly Studio at the time your panel picture is taken. You may pay with a check (made payable to RKS) or with cash.
Ladies: MHS dress code applies which means that you may not wear any type of tank top or spaghetti straps. No facial piercings of any kind will be allowed.
Gentlemen: You are required to wear a collared, button down shirt with a tie. No facial hair is allowed for panel pictures and no facial piercings of any kind will be allowed. If you do not have a shirt and/or tie, no worries because we have several shirts and ties that you may borrow. Please let Mrs. Claborn or Mrs. McCrary know if you will need a shirt and/or tie.
The panel picture proofs will be returned to you within a few weeks. At that time you will choose the pose that you would like submitted to the judges for Beauty/Beau. If you are wanting to place an order for the panel pictures,
you will do that directly through RKS.
Last thing! Retakes are scheduled for September 17th.
We look forward to seeing all of you very soon!
